Hello

I began running music classes for children in September 2012, when my little girl was just two years old and my little boy was growing in my tummy. I had previously been a professional singer and seeing how much music and particularly song, had enabled my little girl from being a tiny baby, I decided I wanted to share that experience and my love for music with other families and their little ones.

 

What started out as just wanting children to enjoy music with me, resulted in witnessing how much music enabled children of all ages. I was amazed as I watched children’s confidence soar, as children who were slightly verbal or completely non-verbal gained language and communication in a matter of weeks.  I saw huge increases in motor skills, rhythm development and most importantly, I saw pure joy and happiness every single session.

 

I wanted to know how and why this was happening, so I decided to go back into education and spent 4 years gaining degrees in Education and The Professional Study of Children. I studied the neuroscience behind how music affects our little one's growing minds and the research into the benefits of educating children through the use of music.  I’m also very proud to say I am now a published author in this field, as my research into the benefits of education through music has been published into an academic early education journal.

 

From all of this knowledge and 15 years of hands-on experience, working with thousand’s of children, I created Music with Me.

 

Music with Me is a programme which aids and enables your little one's growth and development from the age of 6 weeks right up to school age. I have written every song in our programme, created almost 40 different learning themes for your little ones to enjoy and poured into it every ounce of my love for music and passion for working with children.  We are so much more than a music class!
